Introducing the NEW Fountas & Pinnell Phonics, Spelling, and Word Study System
In August of this year, Fountas and Pinnell will release a new, enhanced version of their 2003 resource, Phonics Lessons, called the Phonics, Spelling, and Word Study System for grades K and 1 (grades 2 and 3 to follow in 2018). The underlying message of the previous edition still applies; the lessons are still meant to be used the same way. The two biggest enhancements are the connection to the NEW Comprehensive Phonics, Spelling, and Word Study Guide as well as the organization. This version will be MUCH MORE user-friendly with the inclusion of folders and labels and the replacement of the Teacher Resources Binder for Online Resources and Ready Resources, which are now organized by lesson.
